The Government of the Republic of Moldova is earnestly working towards ensuring the sustainable development of the country. In view of this, the country is offering foreign investors and individuals a favourable climate to do business, as well as a host of facilities and beneficial state programs.

To take advantage of its strategic geographic position, the Government of the Republic of Moldova has enhanced its regional integration efforts to promote open economic policies. Its legal framework has also been enhanced and several favourable laws governing the regulation of foreign trade, competition, industrial property rights, and several others have been adopted.

The Moldova Citizenship-by-Investment program offers applicants with a passport that provides access to 122 destinations. This includes all countries in Europe’s Schengen Area as well as Turkey and Russia. Other benefits of the Moldova passport include:

  • Full citizenship, with passport rights, for the applicant and included family members.
  • Easy inclusion of dependent children up to 29 years of age and parents (of either the main applicant or the spouse) from 55 years of age in the application.
  • Citizenship transferable to future generations.
  • Citizenship in a member state of the World Trade Organization, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, and several others.
  • Citizenship in a state that has entered into an association agreement with the European Union.

MOLDOVA

CITIZENSHIP BY INVESTMENT QUALIFICATIONS​

To qualify for the Moldova Citizenship by Investment program, applicants must meet the following requirements and make the primary qualifying contribution:

A one-time non-refundable contribution to the Public Investment Fund of Moldova: This is a state fund that will direct the funds received to the development of infrastructure, healthcare, education, and will also contribute to the tourism and cultural sphere of Moldova.

  • €100,000 for a single applicant
  • €115,000 for a couple
  • €145,000 for a family of four.
  • €155,000 for family of five or more
  • Post-approval government service provider fees of €35,000 per application.
  • In addition, applicants are required to pay government fees of €5,000 for the main applicant, €2,500 for a spouse, €1,000 for a child aged 0 to 15 years, €2,500 for a dependent child aged 16 to 29 years, and €5,000 for a dependent parent — of the main applicant or of the spouse — who is 55 years of age or older.
  • No Criminal record
  • Over 18 year old
  • A person who has been denied a visa to a country or territory with which Moldova has visa-free or visa-on-arrival travel arrangements and who has not subsequently obtained a visa to that jurisdiction shall not be accepted to the program.
