Maltese Permanent Residency Program – This program offers non-Maltese persons the

possibility of acquiring an EU residency that offers visa-free travel within Europe's Schengen Area.

Residency by Investment 

Requirements,

  • The main applicant must be over 18 years of age.
  • Be of outstanding character.
  • Have no criminal record.

Features

  • This is the only program in Europe that issues a residency card as well as a certificate, which is valid for a lifetime.
  • Malta is a full EU Member State.

INVESTMENT OPTIONS

  • Option 1: Non-refundable Option – Donate to the Government and rent a residential property

in Malta, in the South of Malta and Gozo, or in any other area of the country.

The minimum hold time for a property is five years whether purchased or leased.

Residency Process

Month 1 – 2

  • Prepare application & supporting documents.
  • Submit Residency Application and initial contribution deposit of 30% of the total cost
  • Government application processing and due diligence.

Month 7 – 8

  • Application approved in principle.
  • Second contribution payment due of 70% of the total cost.
  • Lease / Purchase Property etc.
  • Submit proof requirements satisfied
  • Residence cards issued
